The NavGate AVIC-F500BT lets you add fast, accurate and reliable
navigation features and extended entertainment options to your car
without having to change your existing audio system.
Designed to integrate with virtually any factory audio system,
NavGate "sits" on your dashboard, relaying route guidance, ‘phone
conversations and audio through your car speakers, acting as a gateway
to bring you:

The 5.8-inch touch screen with large, intuitive menu items makes
operation quick and easy. And of course, the screen is portable (with
battery included). So you can switch between cars, too.
Highly accurate Tele Atlas maps
for 29 European countries are pre-installed on the integrated flash
memory. Optional views are also available to make your route guidance
easier.
NavGate acts as a complete entertainment hub with multiple A/V inputs and is able to play audio and video files.
You
can connect and have full control of your iPod, USB stick or a wide
range of multimedia players; even files recorded to an SD card.
Due to the powerful processor, you can even enjoy your iPod tunes, for example, whilst simultaneously using the navigation features.
You also have the option of adding a reversing camera. This enhances safety by transmitting a view from the rear of your car to the touch screen.
NavGate includes a
Parrot Bluetooth phone interface.
Your mobile phone can be left anywhere in your car and your contacts
will be displayed and accessible via the touch screen. Conversations
are relayed in crystal clarity by your car speakers.
All audio - including the sound of the original car radio - is amplified by our highly regarded 4X50 MOSFET amplifier and delivered through the car speakers.
You
can personalise your AVIC-F500BT, for example, by creating customised
points of interest using a web-based application and then loading the
location coordinates (together with a representative icon of the
location) onto the unit's maps.
The unit can be integrated with virtually any vehicle. The 4X50 MOSFET amplifier is hidden from view.
